Beautiful red-to-creamy white racemes adorn this lovely little grey-green, stemless plant in winter.
The sharply pointed leaves are covered in prominent but soft, white, warty spines. Some stem shoots may appear from under the main plant. Because of the stemless habit of the plant it may be better to remove them because of space considerations. Aloe ‘Fire Opal’ is best cultivated in a container, but more mature plants may be moved to the front of the rockery.
Well worth cultivating !
