Record-holding, medium-sized, stem-less plant that can produce a canopy of nearly 300 tightly clustered, blood red racemes carried by 7 inflorescences. Flower time is from after mid-winter to spring. The broad green leaves normally develop a reddish or orange hue during this time, and their tips die back a little.
Stem shoots are rare and should be removed to allow the plant to apply all its energy into producing that amazing flower performance. Aloe ‘Laser Show’ in full flower is a stunning sight. Plant in a pot or the open rockery. Specimens in containers should be given fresh soil with plenty of compost every 2 years or so, to replenish the nutrients required for healthy growth and flowering.
Best recorded flower production from a single rosette (crown): 7 inflorescences and 297 racemes.
THIS PLANT IS TEMPORARILY OUT_OF_STOCK AT SUNBIRD ALOES.
