Aloe ‘Popcorn’

This is a medium sized stem-less green plant with a near-perfect cluster of densely-flowered, lemon yellow racemes any time between late autumn and spring. Popcorn can flower for the first time as a very young plant. A mature plant with 3 large inflorescences in full flower is a thing of beauty!

The leaves are edged with small reddish spines. There could be stem shoots from below the rosette, which are best removed. If the rosette splits (normally only mature plants) it will increase the number of inflorescences. Popcorn will do well in a pot but best flower production comes from open area plants.
