Aloe ‘Sabre’

Not only does the blood red-to-yellow flower colour catch the eye – the angle of the massive racemes shows that this cultivar is something out of the ordinary. “Sabre” produces multiple, branched inflorescences resulting in an awesome display from midwinter onward.  The detail of the individual open flower is just as spectacular.

This large, slow-stemming plant has dark green leaves and does not produce stem shoots. It will, however, divide the rosette, which is good news for the gardener because it means more flowers in the next season.

Best utilised in open planting, a sensational cultivar on the rockery or in landscaping.

Best recorded flowering dispaly: 3 inflorescences with a total of 11 large racemes.
