Compact yellow flower racemes open simultaneously in mid winter giving an incredible display of pale yellow clusters.
This striking medium sized hybrid aloe has a beautiful plant – grey leaves adorned with a red decorative edge – and is capable of branching and forming a shrub. A very striking and strong-flowering single plant can be achieved by removing stem shoots. The main rosette should eventually divide itself to give an even better flower display – click on the main picture for a good example of this.
“Southern Cross” is suitable for garden beds or a large pot. Stunning in a mass planting, particularly when contrasted with a different colour.
