Aloe ‘Borealis’

This medium sized, stemless aloe comes with a bouquet of bright orange flowers from mid-winter to spring. Up to four branched inflorescences with upright racemes decorate the well-structured plant with grey-green leaves.

Stem shoots are rare, but are best removed, should they appear. Although it prefers open planting it will do well in a big enough pot. Correct placing of a plant in the rockery can contribute to the impact of the flowers.

Aloe “Borealis” is a good companion for  Aloe ‘Sun King’ or Aloe Southern Cross’ as the orange and yellow flowers combine beautifully.

The rosette is  ± 35cm in diameter and ± 30cm high
